- PowerAmiga - a powerPc based amiga. That is to say, the CPU will be a PowerPC
- chip, like the powerMacs do.
- Only Escom know what the specs will be like. It will be shipped in early '97,
- however I believe that they may push production for a pre-christmas '96
- release IMO.
- At the moment Phase5 are working with AT to produce a powerPC based
- accelerator card for existing Amiga's. This will be available at the end of
- Aug '96 / early sept.

- To summarise, the PowerAmiga will bring a huge amount of power to the Amiga.
- When the OS is run on it, it will outperform any OS on any home based system
